This late 1964 250 is fitted with the standard Borg Warner automatic transmission.
Over 17,157 cars were made in RHD form ,and only 727 in LHD, making this Daimler the most successful post war model by far.
Finished in attractive Navy blue with a maroon interior, and fitted with genuine knock off chrome wire wheels with “D” motif spinners. In addition, this Daimler is also equipped with the desirable option of Power Steering.
A Jaguar Heritage Certificate confirms that this 250 is an Australian delivered model ,sold new on 29/12/1964, by Bryson Motors in Melbourne with the Victoria registration number JPJ 939. The main departure being an upgrade to the Navy blue from an original dullish flat green. The current recorded mileage is 36,616 miles.
This 250 is in lovely condition, and demonstrates the silky performance for which the 250 models are renowned.
