Aston Martin AM V8 ZF Manual Coupe

We originally and subsequently imported this car from UK in 1982 whilst we were there. So a known history since almost new. We first inspected the car on 1/11/82 and paid for it on 12/11/82, at just over 50,000 miles , with current UK registration certificates and MOT’s Hexagon of Highgate , Aston Martin Agents in London first registered and sold the car new. Build date was 6/9/1974 and it was sold on 28/3/1975.

At the time of our purchase it had been owned by 3 private people and was still finished in the original grey with blue trim and with automatic transmission.

The Aston arrived in Melbourne on the Portland Bay vessel on 16/3 83 and we sold the car on12/3/84 at 51,800 miles.

We re purchased the car on 9/6/85 at 59,580 miles and it went to an NSW owner who had the expertise and knowledge to upgrade the car to a correct ZF manual gearbox and re trim the car with a new red Connolly leather interior , in addition to fitting new outer sills.

Paradise Garage in Sydney on or about 3/9/1999 at 67,951 miles sold the car to a Sydney gentleman who sold the car again on 11/3/2003 to a local AMOC member. He retained the car until 31/3/ 2010 when it was sold to the last Melbourne owner at 134,000 miles.

Since then it has covered a further 11000 miles ,the mileage being currently just over 145,000 miles.
There is a large portfolio of files , including a Heritage Certificate and a healthy receipt and invoice file which includes old UK registration and MOT certificates.

It is not often that a car appears which has such a long and verifiable history .
