Aston Martin AMV8 Volante 1979

Fitted with Automatic transmission, this Volante came off the assembly line in November 1979 and was delivered in January 1980 in UK and subsequently imported here by it’s UK owner in 2008.

This car has now covered only 82,099 miles and has full service history since new by Aston Martin agents in UK , and specialists here.

This V8 is the first Volante finished in elegant dark British Racing Green, and is one of only five Series One cars finished in this colour, according to a letter from AML factory Historian Roger Stowers. A total of 439 series one Volantes were manufactured. This car also features the desirable BBS wheels , which did not become standard equipment until 1983.

Apart from the comprehensive service and history file, also included is the original leather bound handbook and work shop manual.
