Aston Martin V8 Vantage

Aston Martin V8 Vantage

Year: 1983

Price: (AUD) $436,950

This factory RHD Vantage was ordered on July 15th 1982 by well-known businessman Wensley Haydon-Baillie. Haydon-Baillie was an avid Aston enthusiast who always had his cars built to special order at a significant cost. This car was no different, with the original order sheet (attached below) having 2 pages of “Extras” and 2 amendments prior to being completed.

Mr Ballie owned the car from 1983 until March 1991 and covered approx. 50,000 miles. During this time the car was serviced by Works Service at Milton Keynes, who modified and brought the car up to Series 3 specification and added Ronal wheels.

In 1991, Mr Ballie was so well connected with the factory that they took this car as part exchange and placed the car in a demonstration fleet with registration 1AML.

The car was soon sold on to new owners who continued to meticulously service and care for the car, often at great expense. From 1997 to current the car has travelled a total of 86,390 miles and has received a bare metal respray, engine rebuild to X-Pack specifications, suspension, brake and chassis servicing, plus regular maintenance with receipts.

Designed to be enjoyed, this one of a kind high performance Vantage is incredibly collectable and is in superb condition throughout.
