Austin Healey 3000 Mark 11 “Tri-Carb” Roadster 1961

The Heritage Certificate confirms that this BT7 2+2 Healey was dispatched to USA on 31/8/ 1961. A matching number car it was imported into Australia by renowned Healey restorer Steve Pike in 2001.
After arrival here a full restoration was carried out, and the car was refinished in metallic BRG with a black leather interior and dark green carpeting.
Having covered only 6170 miles since restoration with only one other owner, the car remains in beautiful condition. The soft top is excellent and the car also has a tonneau and jack/ with knock on hammer etc.
Formally on full Victorian registration, but now on the non transferable Club Permit, this BT7 will be sold unregistered but with RWC.
Of the 5451 BT7 Tri Carb models ,over 4000 were exported to USA, as this one originally was. This car was one of the latter cars to be fitted with the side shifter gearbox with overdrive, and remains in the car today.
This is a very attractive 2+2 Mark 11 Healey which is ready to be enjoyed, and the current condition is really testament to the thoroughness of the restoration carried out over 20 years ago.
