Austin Healey Sprite

The “New Austin Healey Sprite Mk III” has “New suspension”, “Increase in Power and Smoothness” and “New De-luxe cockpit” according to the original Brochure accompanying this vehicle.

Launched in 1958 as a low cost sports car that “a chap could keep in his bike shed”, originally costing £669 production ran from 1958 until 1971.

 The mkIII Sprites features a 1.1L, 4 cylinder engine with improvements over earlier models such as a new curved windscreen, wind up side windows, exterior door handles with separate locks and ride improving semi elliptic leaf springs.

This very tidy example has benefitted from a very thorough refurbishment over some years and includes a receipt file, early registration documents and an original Austin Healey brochure. A fine example of a MkIII sprite that you is ready to be enjoyed.
