Dodge Series 116 Tourer 1923

Repatriated from a country property in NSW and restored to its original specification in 2006 this almost 100 year old car is in lovely condition. Complete with full side screens and a full leather interior. The hood and wet weather equipment are all in very good order.

Dodge Bros cars began importing cars into Australia from as early as 1916 and by the 1920’s had established a reputation for being both rugged and reliable in service. Powered by a 3379 cc 4 cylinder engine with a 3 speed gearbox and having a reasonable kerb weight of about 1155kgs , this very attractive Vintage Dodge is ready for picnic or show. This series Dodge was generally accepted as being the first steel bodied production car , quite an achievement at the time.
