Ferrari 308 GT4 coupe 1974

Built in September 1974 this 308 was delivered new to Sydney , Australia and registered KUJ 107. with Australian Compliance Plate dated 11/74. Finished in the original Ferrari red as manufactured , but was refinished some years ago and is in excellent condition.

The car was exported to New Zealand in 1985 where it was owned for some years by AC DC rock band drummer Phil Rudd, who is a keen Ferrari enthusiast, and this was the car that started it all, being his first Ferrari purchase. At that time the mileage was approximately 56,000 klms.

The following year a restoration was commenced but the car was never completely finished, and in 1996 the car was sold in New Zealand to a Richard Glasson who re imported the car into Australia in 1998 after successfully selling it out of a Unique Cars Magazine advertisement . It was purchased by a N.S.W enthusiast Paul Simpson who restored the suspension and rebuilt engine and gearbox in 1999. It was subsequently registered Dino-08V in NSW.

Service records go to 72,000 klm in 2007 and the car was sold to the last owner in Victoria at 82,217 klms in 2013. The car has now covered only 86,901 klms.
