This series 1 E-Type has the early pressed alloy dash panel and centre console, being the 409th E-Type Fixed Head Coupe built in the first 500 series, accordingly it is an inside bonnet latch car. This E Type was completed on 13th April 1962 and dispatched on 1st May 1962 to Jaguar dealers Henly’s of London.

The car is an original matching engine number car , and has an SP straight port head with correct R suffix. Originally finished in Gunmetal Grey , but subsequently re painted in red with a biscuit interior.
