Becoming increasingly popular and commanding higher prices with every Auction, the Jaguar 3.8 litre Mk II was first produced between 1959 and 1967. These medium sized saloon cars were designed and built with the adage of “Grace, Pace and Space” and they delivered on all three points. Powered by a 220bhp 3.8 litre motor (that was almost identical to the early XK power plants) these beautifully finished English saloons could comfortably fit four adults.
 
This example has had extensive driving improvements with over $25,000 in receipts, including fully dyno tuned performance enhancements, extractors, weber carburetors, this powerful 3.8 engine is mated with a modern Supra gearbox, there are also suspension enhancements as well as interior upgrades with more modern Porsche seats and a later Jaguar console fitted.
 
Although this car may not be for the Jaguar purist it is an exceptional package that is brilliant to drive, if you are looking for a classic with some extra punch that you can enjoy on the road or track then this is your car.
