Jaguar D Type 1957 Recreation by Tempero

Constructed by the famed Tempero Motor Company in New Zealand and completed in 1984. The car spent most of its life in New Zealand before being imported
into Australia in 2020, after having 2 long term owners in NZ. Traditionally finished in British Racing Green with grey leather seating and
matching cockpit. The dashboard and instrumentation is by Smiths after the original style.
With superb hand finished alloy bodywork this “D” Type mirrors the style of the original design so skilfully penned by the renowned Jaguar
aerodynamicist Malcolm Sayer.
Sitting on the correct peg Dunlop style knock off wheels with triple eared knock off hubs. Under the bonnet the 3.8 litre Jaguar twin overhead cam engine with triple Weber carburettors, and extractor exhaust, provides a healthy 265 BHP . A 4 speed gearbox, disc brakes all round complete the picture.
