Mercedes Benz 250SE Coupe 1967

These elegant 250SE coupes were designed by famed automobile stylist Paul Bracq ,starting with the 220SE and finally the 280SE 3.5 series.
This Australian delivered late series 250SE was one of only 235 manufactured in RHD, of the 5259 250SE coupes made. Certainly a very limited edition.
Delivered to a lady in Sydney new on 9th October 1967 by NSW MB Distributors York Motors and carrying their commission number plate 2969. She retained the car for 35 years until 2002 at 66,297 miles, when it passed to further Sydney based owners for the next 12 years at 82,610 miles. In 2014 the car was purchased by a Victorian owner where it has been since. Currently the mileage is still a low 92,691 miles.
Complete with a full set of stamped books and many period and later invoices, mainly from Mercedes Benz authorized service dealers, and even the receipt for the AWA fitted radio installation 2 days after delivery. Quite rare to see one of these coupes delivered here with a radio delete panel necessitating a radio for those wishing one.
Finished in beautiful Navy blue with the original cream leather trim still in very good order and complimented by the light toned timberwork which has been refinished at some time. The coach work is delightfully straight and the brightwork good. The car also still carries the 14 inch wheels with hub cap and trim rings which were exclusively fitted to 250SE and SL models in their period of manufacture from 1965 to 1967.
The engine bay and boot areas are in original order, and the car is also fitted with the original Behr mid mounted ex-factory Air conditioning unit.
This is an opportunity to acquire a rare genuine RHD Australian delivered 250SEC with a known history and moderate mileage.
