This 380SL was Complied in March 1984 and delivered new from MBZ Sindelfingen to the first Australian owner under then popular tourist delivery scheme. Serviced at Mercedes Malaga in Spain until 10,037 klms when it was exported into Melbourne and registered here COS 670 and serviced by Worrells at 17,881 klms. Service history by them and 3 Point Motors is consistent until March 2006 at 142,541 klms.
After a spell in Tasmania the car returned to Melbourne and more recently there has been extensive service work carried out by Malvern Motors and others to the tune of over $17,000 up to date. The current mileage being 235,273 klms.
This 380SL has a complete set of handbooks and the service wallet, together with a file of more recent service history. New tyres have just been fitted and both the soft top and hardtop are in excellent condition.
