Delivered new in Melbourne by official Mercedes Benz distributors, Lanes Motors for the Director of Myer Emporium , Kenneth Baillieu Myer in July 1979, this beautiful 6.9 is one of only 227 450SEL models imported by Mercedes Benz Australia.

Finished in the original shade of Pastel Blue Metallic with a Beige leather interior this Mercedes is in excellent condition and has the full compliment of books and history which convey a care of ownership for many years having only covered a moderate 263,000 klms in total.

Becoming increasingly sought after and hard to find in this condition the 6.9 was the pinnacle in MBZ large capacity saloons , being the largest capacity engine ever fitted in over 40 years. E/N 5980.
