History information reveal that this TC was completed on the 8/4/1948 and was delivered new to Geelong in Victoria. Importantly, it still has matching numbers and is finished in the original colour scheme of British Racing Green with a beige interior ,with matching hooding and side curtains. Believed to have had only 4 owners since new the car has always resided in
Victoria.
There can be few MGTC cars around which so closely follow the original build specifications, even down to the complete tool kit roll with hammer, jack and grease gun included, plus the MG TC driver’s handbook of instructions. An always willing starter from cold or when warm, this charming TC still rests on the original size 19″ wire wheels and does also feature the 3.7:1 diff ratio for more relaxed and economical touring. The paintwork and body are in excellent condition with the guards still following their original
profile. The interior presents very well and as original except for the addition of some MGCC dashboard badges which record some of the car’s past exploits. A new replacement clutch assembly is also included with the car.
