TRIUMPH TR3 1956.
This superb 1956 TR3 has been fully restored to a high standard, winning the Laurie Cousin Trophy in 2016 for best restoration.
One of the Australian assembled TR3’s this car has had a full body off rebuild, which included strengthening to rally standards. The engine has been fully rebuilt by Orger Engineering , and the gearbox rebuilt by Mike Heaton.
Importantly this is the only car to be trimmed using the red and black cloth houndstooth material which appears on the dash, seat backs and door panels. A very few other cars featured this also but in green or black.
At one time the car held the track record at Grafton Hill climb in NSW, and the Grafton Car Club badge is included with the car.
In addition there is a solid receipt file and the package also includes a tonneau and chrome pack rack .
This is a stunning car presented beautifully . The white wall tyre spats are removeable for those preferring the traditional look.
